About FightLab

Coach: Mark Rawson
Age: 45yrs
From: Leeds
Martial Arts History: Growing up in Leeds, I began training 'seriously' in martial arts during the 1990's. Originally in Judo, Freestyle Karate at Leeds Freestyle and Lau Gar Kung Fu. I later moved to training Muay Thai at Tiger Gym & Bad Company gym in Leeds. I made the move to train in Filipino Boxing (Panantukan) & Grappling (Dumog) and Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do Concepts. In 2001 I started training under Mark 'Spenna' Spencer at what would later be known as Team Fulinkazan (now SGB Bradford). After gaining a Dan grade Kickboxing & training in Kick-Jitsu (Ju Jitsu & Kickboxing) I opened The FightLab in Huddersfield to specialise in MMA and 'real' street combat training. I'm also a level 1 Instructor in Rapid Assault Tactics & Jeet Kune Do Concepts, in the lineage of Sifu Paul Vunak, a head student of Guro Dan Inosanto. In recent years Ive also gained my Muay Thai 1st degree at Master Sken Academy Stockport & my 2nd Dan black belt in CMAA Karate Kickboxing.
